What happened to the Dixie Chicks (none / 0)
They became more popular than ever

in a word no..  I like Bruce Willis  turn your brain off and watch things explode movies but I know he is a rabid conservative.

What actors do in their private life doesn't interest me. I don't care what cereal they eat or who they vote for.

Although I *am* disappointed when I find out an actor I like is an idiot when it comes to politics.

Sort of like Tom Cruise with Scientology (and yes, I know that's not political).

The Dixie Chicks went through some brutal stuff before they became more popular than ever.

Even though I'm not a fan of their music I do recommend watching the document Shut Up And Sing.

A Very Good Movie (none / 0)
While not being a country music fan, I saw the movie Shut Up and Sing and found it a very good movie. I too would recommend viewing the movie to anyone interested in how the country music world tried to put a real hurt on the Dixie Chicks, and how they stuck together and somewhat prevailed.
