By the way, what is Bobo talking about? First, if we are in war in Iraq and Afghanistan, it's a war that we didn't start. The terrorists started these wars. We took action to liberate these countries, and freedom is on the march. These wars are going very well, so what's the problem? We've made great progress in both places, both are successful examples of an aggressive US foreign policy, as I've been told. Why would these be an Obama "problem"? Obama will be inheriting these successes?
On the economy I'm even more confused. I heard the President tell me himself that the economy is fine, and that whatever little problems there are will be fixed by socialism. So again, what problem is Obama inheriting. Bush said he was going to work non-stop on the economy from Election Day to Inauguration Day, so we're fine there. And the bailouts are going to make money for the US Treasury, so Obama will be inheriting a huge windfall there. I can't wait to credit Obama for this brilliant investment by the US government.
All in all, I don't get what Bobo is saying we "liberals" should be concerned about. Things are just fine, and Obama is about to steal all the successes of the Bush Presidency and claim them for himself.
