Of course, I don't know if Obama will be able to cut non-defense spending, but you can hardly demand that after what bush did. He grew the budget in both areas, more than all of his predecessors. Obama has already signaled his intention to try to spend our way out the republican depression that we're in. Get used to that phrase.
