I still like the comments, but I think the regular show is more effective for getting the message out (when he's not covering pop culture bullshit of course, which seems to be about a third of the show).
That's why he maintains things like OddBall and other weird pop culture shit. I mean, if he only covered the campaign trail and only covered the Bush Administration, you'd say he really needs to tone it down, correct? I think they see that and are trying to make sure to keep the show a bit lighter than what it could be by having a lot of silly segments.Personally, I think it's transparent and Keith would be better served at having smaller Oddball segments and more ads. Really.
The rant was a bit incoherent, but only a bit. I think it's still good though to have a commentator on a major news station who doesn't toe the Bush/Versailles press line and instead attacks from the left. I like that and see that sometimes the rants will be misses, but overall it's still a great plus for the progressive cause.
