Hillary doesn't have the patience to wait for 2012, she is scuttling Obama's ship to leave super delegates with only one percieved choice: her.  And it may work.  That is, it may get her the nomination.  Remember, many of these superdelegates are the same Dems who have bent over Bush's meat counter for years with nary a "be gentle" for the American people.  They will bend over for the Clintons' bullying too.

Where she is wrong is her assertion that she is the one who will beat McCain.  She won't, because she can't.  She has already bought into Republican framing, and she can't be as Republican as Granpa' John.  If she kills Obama, she will kill the enthusiasm of the Democratic base.  Middle America won't trust the Clintons, conservatives hate them, and liberals and people of color will feel betrayed.  It's McCain in a walk, in a year when it shouldn't even be close.

Remember, Hillary funded Lieberman after he went independent - that  is her wing of the "big tent."
