I think it's abundantly clear that people are just getting overly emotional about something that happened in the dark ages of the 20th century. The idea that everyone must form a certain opinion in favour of either side just makes for a lot of confusion because old propaganda and misconceptions are spread anew.

This is, after all, why we have historians. Historians are supposed to be able to objectively investigate events in history. Not leaving it to them is, at this point, just recycling myth, propaganda, and unconfirmable truth.

However, Cenk Uygur has been saying for a long time that the Armenian genocide is a real event. Atilla the Hun here is merely shooting his own cause in the foot by making us doubt whether or not Cenk is right in calling the event a genocide.
