I tend to go with Murder She Wrote and Matlock when mocking television choices for the old, but you get a TON of credit for coming up with Lawrence Welk.  My God is that old-school.

And to think, you're years younger than me, making it even more amazing.

And uh, I used to Matlock as a kid.
