Professor, you and I are both old enough to know that elections and politics in general are not about facts and numbers - much of it is intuition and opinion that cannot be shown or quantified as numerical statistics...

As for my thoughts on Electoral states and strategy - they are my thoughts and feelings about the people and the demographics of the area - I live in the Mountain Southwest, and unless something catastrophic happens (Like John McCain eating babies on stage at a rally), You aren't going to get this overwhelming urban/youth/black vote that will propel Obama to victory here... Obama needs to shift his startegy here...

Obama needs to start helping us "White Trash" voters and Hispanics out by saying stuff that we understand and want - we can beg and be pandered to just as easy as the youth/blacks/elitists can - We want a piece of the pie too, you know... Cuba Gooding Jr said it best in that movie with Tom Cruise - Obama needs to :

"Show me the money!!!..."
