Good bagels.  Not grocery store bagels.

Least favorite:  You're right about pickles, but I have to go with tuna fish.  For some reason the smell of it has always made me sick.  Maybe I had some tragic childhood incident involving tuna fish or something, because I really can't explain it.*  And BTW, I only mean tuna fish, not tuna THE fish, because tuna steaks are delicious.

* For the record, I originally wrote a long fictional story about my tragic childhood with tuna, but after I reached the end of chapter three, I decided my energies would be better spent elsewhere.  Like actually working, since I'm on the clock right now and all.

Chicken wings and bagels?

Chicken wings have become real popular at sports bars but I've never, ever gotten into them.  I mean, to me it's a bunch of skin and bone, and just like my women, I like a nice big breast.  ;)

Seriously, I love chicken breast.  I'm all about the white meat.  I can't eat stuff with bone, fat and gristle.  Like John Candy who thought he had finished that giant steak in the great outdoors.

PS---Tuna in the can...makes me nauseous just thinking about it.  Very good for those wanting to lose fat and build muscle (mercury's bad but hey) but uh, just gross to me.

I don't discriminate.  I love me some white meat as well, but I just can't resist a wing.  The sauce options are the thing for me.  I love a good vinegar based wing sauce.

Also, Bone,Fat, and Gristle was the name of my gang in prison.

Besides you can go to wonderful places like:
Hooters
Mugs n Jugs (my grandma's favorite)
Wing House (got sued by hooters for being the same) and the latest franchise:
O'Boobigans

but Chilis has these amazing boneless habanero wings with a sweet mango dipping sauce.  Very delicious.

The bone just gets in the way, and can be gross at times.

Boneless rocks, as does O'Boobigans.

But if I want "boneles wings" why don't I just go eat a nugget, or a tender, or a breast?  I don't dislike boneless, I just object to the term.  It's false marketing bullshit.  Half of the fun with wings is the project.  It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I look down at my plate and see all those bones, and nobody can take that away from me.  Nobody!

You know the two boned type of wing.  Not the little drumetted but the other one.

I can put one of those in lengthwise, catch the starting point of the meat on my teeth and pull it out and what is left looks like bleached bone. Awesome.  My wife is a huge fan of this maneuver in public.

Can't do that with boneless.

And I agree, what exactly is the difference between a chicken nugget and a boneless wing?

Quality of the meat, the breading and the sauce.

The End  ;)

I use to always go to this cheap Pakistani restaurant before it got all blown out and whenever I ordered the Tandori Chicken Breast, the guy who worked there would always ask me what size I wanted the breasts.  After a quick pause of confusion, he'd then go on to recommend the doube ds.  The second time he tried that on me just wasn't as funny.

Anyway, indian-crab-sushi shakes are super in my book.  In regards to least favorite foods, I can't stand vegetarian sloppy joes and stuffed green pepper medlies.

I mean, is there fake meat, like that fake veggie ground beef or is it just like vegetables?

the last time I ordered it (1.5 years or so ago, give or take) it looked like a human heart.  I haven't eaten it since...

PS---Uttapam is very good.

I just remembered, Pad Si Ew (sp) is really, really good.  But that's Thai Food, unlike Uttapam which is still Indian.

I learned how to make real bagels from a Sunset magazine recipe back in the 1970s.  Oh man, they are the best!  The bagels you find in the west are often just bread in a ring shape.

I rarely eat bagels (too many carbs for me), but when I do, I love the "everything" bagel.

And of course something like a blueberry bagel with cream cheese.

some hamachi, washed down with a large Saporo, hard to beat.  Except with some fatty tuna, with just the right amount of wasabi...
