The far left has been spoiled of late but people understand and thats why theres sensible people who can move from left to center and maybe a bit to the right here and there.
the phrase Political Terrorism comes to mind when talking about the hardcore base (left and right):
"deal with my particular issues or I may not vote for my side..."---its stupid and childish (Hillary fans Im looking in your general direction)
