That 40 percent polled were Liberals, 20 percent were Conservatives and McCain, despite his obvious creepiness, still won Independents by 8-10 percent. Professor, you should know better than to trust or quote anything by the LA Times, or what we Californian expats like to call "Pravda West"! Tisk Tisk sir!
