I just watched Keith's special comment that bobo refers to.  I sort of felt that Keith was covering his own ass after he just recently seemed to give Obama a pass on voting for the FISA bill (re:  the hole in FISA).  Keith can get a little full of himself in my opinion. On the other hand, I am glad he didn't kowtow to Obama in this last comment.

I was very disappointed at Obama's rejection of Clark, and with his implied rejection of MoveOn.org too.  You are right that Clark did not attack McCain's patriotism.

I have appreciated Obama's intelligence and willingness to treat issues as other than just black vs. white.  In this instance, it seemed like he simply pandered to the right. He also may have lost a very important ally.  I was hoping Clark would be his VP, but now, with Obama's permission, he is getting whomped by the media.  It seems very important that people question the integrity of those who have been in the military, the same as anyone else.  Not everyone who joins the military is a saint.
