My main problem lately has been trying to get Internet Explorer to load the front page. Something keeps trying to "pop up" and hangs up the page. Works fine in Firefox, though. Using it now.

There have been a number of changes lately and any time change happens, unexpected consequences come along. I have complete faith in Dave, that he will fix things as soon as he can. Sometimes, it's finding the problem which is the hardest part; it can be like looking for a mouse in an 80 room mansion. Sometimes, fixing one problem creates three new ones. Especially easy when it comes to websites trying to accomodate a variety of operating systems and browsers.

If anyone doesn't think they aren't getting their $10 worth this month, send me an email with how much you think you were overcharged (up to $5) and I'll send you a check. That's how important I think an alternative source of information like The Young Turks is. medford_tim at yahoo dot com.

Commercials are a pain, but a necessary one. During the show and on the loop available to the public at the site: no problem. It's a part of the biz. I agree that they don't belong in the podcasts, but I haven't downloaded either video or audio in quite a while; I don't know from firsthand knowledge that they are being included.

The complaints are valid, but so is the plea for patience.

I agree with Tim 90% and disagree 10%. I find this program entertaining and informative and listening is one of the highlights of my day. I rely on the rebroadcast as I am almost never at my computer at night. Supporting the show is well worth the money. Since I am paying for an XM subscription am I double supporting? The disagreement comes with the lack of communication. TYT is a business and the members/donors are customers. When there is a major problem with the product, the company has an obligation to communicate with the customer. It makes good business sense. I emailed Dave today, after being patient for 3 days, and he promptly replied. However, it would have saved both of us time if there had been a message on the video download page that there was a problem which is currently being solved. That's all. No biggie. I'm not upset or concerned.  I don't even have a problem with ads in the loop since not everyone who views on the net are members. I will continue to support the show.

This is my only issue as well.  I am patient, but I'm a lot more patient when someone lets me know what's going on.

Patience. Any time there's a change some feathers are ruffled, but the problems are always cleared up relatively quickly.

Maybe not always as quickly as you'd like, but quickly enough.  Like the last time there was a transition (to the web from Air America), there was a thread similar to this.

And I compared TYT to that local diner where everyone knows your name and the food is great and cheap. Yeah, the service isn't amazing (sometimes you wait longer for your food than you want) but as soon as you taste it you know it was worth the wait and you're happy to support a homegrown business with nice owners.
