I've mentioned before that my local facility has expanded at least three times over since 2000 and the number of Doctors have probably kept pace. 

The workers at the facility are there for the Veterans and really work hard at treating us with dignity. While I am right up there in the forefront of holding the government to their commitments, I feel it necessary to point out that the vast, vast majority of workers in the VA Health system are on our side.

If you DO run in to one of the stinkers, ask for a second opinion. Also check with local Veteran Affairs offices if you have a problem at a medical facility. Sometimes it's more effective to go "out of house" with a problem.
