The Clintons (and more importantly their supporters) have been royally screwed by the new Dem leadership and by the Obama team... If I were Hillary Clinton, I would do everything in my power to make sure that McCain gets elected this year so that in 4 years she can come out smelling like roses and win in 2012...

Obama barely won the primaries and Obama has not shown the Hillary supporters any love AT ALL, and basically has flipped them the bird, thinking he can win without them. Now granted, most of the Hillary supporters could not bring themselves to vote for McCain, but a large chunk of them can and will just to spite Obama and Howard Dean...

Obama should have been begging Bill Clinton for his backing and support, but instead, Obamas camp has labeled him a racist and dispatched him to the "back of the Bus"...

The Clintons could have been a big help to the Obama cause, but the Obamas obviously didnt want or solicit their help - so why should we feel bad if the Clintons seem distant from "the cause"?

And anyway, telling the Hillary supporters that their girl is shit and she sucks whoevers cock just isnt gonna get them to vote for your guy - in essence, they are already leaving in droves for McCain...

Clinton didnt fuck this up - Obama did - BIG TIME!!!

Now we'll just have to see if Obamas supporters are gonna be enough to win the Electoral Map...

Doesnt look good...

So we set up Hillary as the fall guy if Obama loses?
That's the plan?

Obama is the one who, in what many took as an example of extreme arrogance said AND I QUOTE "I am confident I will get her votes if I'm the nominee,It's not clear she would get the votes I got if she were the nominee."

Now that some of Hillary's supporters aren't goosestepping in line like he predicted they would and predicted his supporters wouldn't it's Hillary's fault.

I'm a Democrat, I want Democrats to win but constantly looking for someone to blame without looking at oneself is just plain stupid.

Obama played the wrong cards when it came to Hillary's supporters and now that there is a backlash the plan is to blame her.

An entire conversation could be had on how he played the "racist" card and how that pissed a bunch of people off, or how his comments about guns and religion alienated an entire group of people, or how he attended a church for 20 years and never heard the "God Damn America The Government created Aids, roosters coming home to roost" rhetoric of a certain preacher. Americans are dumb but they aren't stupid. He made these mistakes and never gave the answer swing voters were looking for. But it's all Hillary's fault.

If Hillary had won and Obama's supporters didn't jump on her band wagon like he predicted they wouldn't, would we even be having this conversation, or would Obama's supporters being telling everyone it's up to Hillary to make the case to vote for her?

For God's sake stop spending so much time and energy looking for reasons Obama isn't running away with this thing and start offering solutions to the problem that his comments and associations have created.

besides sucking his dick while he gives his excetance speach, just what is it she is supposed to do?

She has embraced him, she has campaigned with him, she has urged her supporters to support the nominee, just exactly is it that Hillary is supposed to do?

Hillary Clinton urges followers to support Obama

Published: Monday 25 August 2008 19:55 UTC
Last updated: Monday 25 August 2008 19:55 UTC
Ahead of the Democratic Party convention, Hillary Clinton has again called on her followers to support the party's presidential candidate Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton was Mr Obama's main rival for the nomination as Democratic candidate, but lost the primaries. Her appeal was primarily aimed at Latinos, a group which strongly supported her candidacy, and has so far not come out in support of Barack Obama.

Hillary Clinton will appear with Barack Obama in Washington next week to persuade her top donors to write big checks to the Democrats' nominee, the Daily News has learned.

So explain to me just exactly what is is that Hillary needs to do?

You know what they want - they want the WOMAN to know her place and to suck on whatever is given to her...

The Obama people have made it very clear that they do not care about the people who did not vote for him...

This will bite him in the end. Mark My Words!

By trying to place the blame on Hillary is NOT going to inspire her supporters to go out and embrace Obama.

It's the wrong strategy, period.

I really do want Democrats to win, but this eating their own, pointing fingers, with much wailing and nashing of teeth is stupid. What's next nanny, nanny, boo boo stick your head in doo doo?

The trying to guilt them into support isn't very bright either.

I know it's hard to believe, but some people don't find him that inspiring, don't understand all the hoopla, and are honestly searching for something more than he's not George Bush or a Republican.

If Obama loses its his fault

We're just saying that Hillary is definitely not doing her part

Say what?
It's his fault but Hillary is not doing her part but it's not her fault?

I'm officially confused. Perhaps it's me, but bitching that she's not doing her part seems to me to be placing some blame on her for his failings.

Again explain in small words so a dumb redneck like me can understand, what the fuck is she supposed to do?

I mean besides campaign with him, release her delegates to him, urge her big money contributors to donate to him? Really does she have tickle his balls while she blows him on stage? Would that do it? Perhaps Bill could give him a rim job while he's at it.

People keep bitching about Hillary but I havent' seen one answer to my question.

If she campaigns she trying to steal his limelight, if she doesn't she is sulking and hoping for a McCain win.

Jesus Christ, I thought the Republicans were a bunch of asshole bastards when it came to the way they treated Hillary when she was first lady, but I've got to say, they are amaturers when it comes to pure vindictive meanness Congragulations you have become what you despise.

What did he/she say that was vindictive or mean? He/she just said that Hillary wasn't doing her part. That's a matter of opinion. You can't compare that to something like the Reps saying that she murdered Vince Foster or one of the thousand other heinous lies they spread about her. We're not quite at their level yet.

I’m sorry Spenc, but have you looked at the title of this thread?

The Clintons have done fuck all
Then we are submitted to a rant of how she has worked her supporters into a fever pitch, but offer’s no evidence.

Then bitches that Bill isn’t out and about even though, in traditional politics you wait for the candidate to ask and tell you where to go, and the Obama camp admits they didn’t call Bill for over a month.

I’m sorry you can’t say on one hand that it’s not Hillary’s fault if Obama loses then list an entire series of bogus claims about how she and Bill aren’t’ doing their parts, in an effort to be able to place blame.

If this had been the first time a thread has disintegrated into Hillary bashing I would offer my apologies for making such a harsh claim, but you and I both know this is not the first and I’m sure it won’t be the last time we here from an Obamanite that Hillary is not playing fair.

My anger and frustration is that these smears, half truths, and outright lies are taken directly from the Republican play book.

Why do I view it as worse? I expect it from the Republicans, but I was under the delusion that we were better than that.

She lost, right? Since when does the winner have to kiss the ass of the loser?

I am a life long Alabama fan. The great Bear Bryant always praised the other team, and pointed out how lucky The Tide was to pull out that 44-3 win. He was gracious in victory and defeat. It didn’t matter what he may have really thought the other coach because the public never got to see that, the public only saw a man who never tried to humiliate his opponent or gloat over the victory. If Obama fans had learned that lesson perhaps so many of Hillary’s supporters wouldn’t be so worked up.
