you should have to pass a basic test to vote (none / 0)
Just like an immigrant, you should know the basic facts about our constitution, how our government works, etc. You should have a basic level of intelligence and education, or maybe a special course in American Politics and Critical Thinking.  That's solely my opinion and an unAmerican idea, I'm sure ;)

While Dems do ok with the poor, as education levels go down Republican support goes up.

More specifically, the less someone knows about an election the more likely they are to vote Republican.
