Cindy on ABC's "This Week," repeating one of the VP's only foreign policy strength--IN FACT, THE ONLY ONE THEY CAN COME UP WITH!!

As to Palin's lack of national security experience, Cindy McCain said, "Alaska is the closest part of our continent to Russia. So, it's not as if she doesn't understand what's at stake here. It's also about making decisions and be targeted in what she thinks. She has a great mind. And she has a very serious direction in where she goes."

I would be laughing hysterically.  The Republicans got nothing left.  Now comes the train wreck that is John McCain's political career.

This intellectual disability seems to be pervasive throuhtout a significant part of the U.S. population and particularly centered in the lunatic hypereligious right wingut groups.  Think about it.  If the rethugs say it often enough (the geographic location of Russia to Alaska) Palin will be the next Kissinger by time of the election. (by the way I think Kissinger is a dick but a good example).  Therein lies the problem.  In my opinion the next 2 months will solidify the hard base of the intellectually challenged republicans.  The swing voters and some of the population that actually cares about the country won't be "buyin it".  Hopefully as other TURKs and myself have stated, people will use their head, not to put it up their ass but to think what can happen if McCain and whatshername are elected.
