Well yeah but people actually like that. There was a line in the awesome show "The West Wing" during a presidential where the staff is concerned that the president appears too smart: "Most people weren't the smartest kid in the class; most people didn't *like* the smartest kid in the class"

Governor Palin had to go to 4 schools to find one which would give her a degree, and Senator McCain graduated in the bottom 6% of his class - I'm John McCain and I approve this message"
