I hate to marginalize the average Ohioan's massively fine tuned intellect, but they are stupid.  There I said it.  I have yet to meet an Ohioan that has been coherent.  With that said, Ohio, predictably, has voted for every winning candidate for the last 40 years.  With the exception of the popular vote in 2000, that I won't go into for reasons of maintaining sanity.  Link below to historical political map.
