Where McCain said:

"I have opposed the president on spending, on climate change, on torture of prisoner, on - on Guantanamo Bay."

and then, later:

"So we have a long way to go in our intelligence services. We have to do a better job in human intelligence. And we've got to -- to make sure that we have people who are trained interrogators so that we don't ever torture a prisoner ever again."

This first sentence was only partially true, for the last two years McCain has voted in favor of Bush laws that allow torture, and he has defended "enhanced interrogation techniques".

But in the second sentence, McCain flat-out admits that the US tortures prisoners.  Nobody brings this up about the debate, but I thought it was significant.

IF Obama is elected Prisoner, hundreds of political prisoners will be released.
