I can't understand why any member would not be supporting TYT to do bigger and better things. TYT is the real progressive  movement. I would love for some one who is not a millionaire to start speaking for the people in prime time. Plus, Cenk is one of the funniest guys ever.

The reason I am opposed to Cenk's shooting for this, if first it's doomed to failure. So why should I boost him up? Secondly he has other things to concern himself, namely his Satellite and Youtube shows, which are currently stuck, so he is pressuring himself. Thirdly he is underestimating the power of radio and internet. These are growing media forces, and Cenk will grow with them. Growth takes time.

I would go so far as to say that I would choose Donahue over Cenk if there was a choice between them. Donahue has more experience in television talk. Cenk's leaving the web to become rich on TV would be like desertion.

But there isn't such a choice. Donahue is one of the frontrunners. Cenk is not. Opportunity is knocking for MSNBC to have a 3 hour block of prime time dem/lib/progressive whatever, talking points.
