And it's stunning to me that a show with TOP NOTCH progressive guests (does it get any better than Maddow, Michael Moore and John Cusack?) and really nice production values could go under so quickly.

My only thought is that it wasn't strongly promoted. I would've liked for Greenwald to do the progressive talk radio circuit to let everyone know about the great new show, etc.  The sad fact is the majority of people who would've loved/liked the show never even knew it existed.

Oh well, live and learn I guess.

loved the guests, and I love Cenk, but I didn't like the format. I would rather just see a straight interview between Cenk and guest, sort of ala Charlie Rose.

he was pretty clear that it wasn't making money. I'll speculate that they started off with large expenses prior to building a solid listenership. TYT didn't spring up overnight, after all. But that's just a guess.
