most people would prefer to change the government via voting etc... not many would raise arms.... so they would be doomed to failure, and if they did something stupid as kill the president, all that would do is get a huge crack down on right wing zealots.
I guarantee if Obama got capped, youd see every right wing talking head thrown in jail as inciters to violence.
More likely, you'd see every right wing talking head crying crocodile tears, paying lip service to Obama as an American president, but with the underlying message, "See? That's what happens when you're a Kenya-born Marxist Socio-Commie Illegal Immigrant Hitler Joker, and by the way, the assassin was just a bad apple in our party."
