military should depart.  The battle for a modern --- you chose --- democratic; socialist --- government in Afghanistan cannot be won by an outside force.  The two videos below have one thing in common, that is they both acknowledge that it will take civilian diplomatic action from all NATO participants rather than rule at the end of a gun to win the hearts and minds of the people that inhabit the territory comprising the "nation" of Afghanistan.  A contingent of special forces and intelligence specialists will be necessary for counterinsurgency action, but the marine and army forces should be withdrawn.  Also, diplomatic action in Iran and Pakistan must be engaged at the highest levels to ensure the border areas are tightened against terrorist and drug running activities.
