The militias in the 90's were comprised of people who could never have made it in the real military, playing pretend in the woods. When a need for real soldiers and a real shooting war arose on 9/11 - these militia wanna-bees evaporated. During the past eight years, while Bush eroded Civil Rights and imprisoned citizens without charges or trials - the "freedom loving" militias stayed gone.

Now that Obama is trying everything he can to save the sinking USS America - now the wing-nuts talk again of militias?

I am sure there are some out there,  But most of it is just talk. Now I am one that wanted some won to take back our government back at least 6yrs ago.  Most of the jerks in our government are no more than crooks, Thats Rs and Dems. They seem to work for themselfs , Not the people, And it seems to take forever to get these jerks out of there.  I don't think its much better now, But i will give Obama time to turn things around and i hope he will , BUT if not then what, Just find someone else to take our $ and run.
If things don't get better,  Then we the people must take our government back, And start a new for the good of us all.
We don't need an army with guns to do that.
