If you jump on the I-5 and drive north, you will be in Canada in about eight hours. It's the land of womb-to-the-tomb social entitlement. Everything is free! Nothing is holding you back.

A man from Mexico named Alejandro Rodriguez mows the grass for my neighbor. I thought about using him to cut my yard, but I would be contributing to the illegal alien problem.

We estimate that Alejandro earns a tax-free, six figure income, even though he is unskilled, and he speaks very little english.

So here are the options. Get busy and work hard and make your life better, or move to Canada and let other people take care of you.

Let's say we take the top end of $50 per yard, to make $100,000 you would need to cut 2000 yards per year.
There are 365 days in a year meaning you would need to cut 5.47 yards per day every day with no days off.
 
If we take the average of $45 ($40 to $50) then poor Alejandro would need to cut 2222.22 yards per week or 6 yards a day.
