Ron Paul is very different from most republicans because I can actually believe what he says. He's taken stances that are very unpopular among his party and it's clear to anyone that has followed him for a while that he believes what he does because he thinks it will be beneficial to the American people. Whether or not he is right on specific issues or not is another subject but he is definitely a rational person who would bring another point of view to the table. And that's what Cenk said he wanted. A lot of republicans claim to be clinging to the constitution but few are. Their words and deeds don't match. Of course Ron Paul is far from perfect but he does a much better job of matching words to actions. So you shouldn't just dismiss him because he says he sticks to the constitution and you've heard that line used a thousand times before.

He is a libertarian

I understand his views

Of course Im being dismissive

He wants to deregulate everything

He thinks public parks are socialism

He thinks the gov has no place

I really dont care what he thinks is beneficial any more than I would care what Tom Delay thinks is beneficial.

What does sticking to the constitution even mean?

Its a ridiculous on its face.

I dont find his views rational at all

"I understand his views...

What does sticking to the constitution even mean?"

Contradictory statement leads one to believe you do not understand Ron Paul's views.

Please Cenk help us out. Until then go here.

Not lying is a great quality especially in a politician and almost unheard of in a Republican. He doesn't believe in no government, he believes in small government and yes he believes no regulation and I'm not saying I agree with his views but he at least explains how he thinks he could make small government and less regulation work as opposed to just repeating those two phrases over and over with nothing to back it up. There's no point in having a debate with a republican who you agree with, it kind of defeats the point of debate.

Cenk having him on as a guest.Ive seen him before. I personally dont think he has anything new to say.

Oh he is anti government..for example

"yes he believes no regulation"

That sounds anti gov to me.

Someone like him in the white house now would be a catastrophe

is resd a few of your other posts to see that your endorsement of Ron Paul proves he is not a good choice.
