For as pretentious, hypocritical, selfish, not to mention self-absorbed, as Sanford may be, when it comes to the lovenote emails, he may have been totally sincere. When the imfatuation bug bites a person all logic goes out the window. Call it love, call it lust, call it stupid, but our primative instincts that drive us to reproduce over-ride even our instincts at self-protection. Sanford a pompous dick for many reasons, but looking like a jerk in emails when under the lovebug spell totally human. I did not know he was.
