While it may be true that I have too much time at hand, that incident was breaking news (in tabloids) in Turkey and some of Europe last week, that is how I noticed it... ;).

Just remember that you're up-to-date with the tabloids in Turkey and parts of Europe.  That's Turkey fercryinoutloud and "parts of" friggin' Europe!

I suspected that you were a nerd, but I wasn't sure.  Gladda mee'cha.

It says that Nerds "follow the learned teachings of George W. Bush".  It also says that Nerds are constantly at war with Geeks.

Neither is actually true, and the article sounds like it was posted by a right-winger who was trying to disrupt the ranks of the left.

Geeks are related to nerds.  In fact, you can't become a geek without first being a nerd, and the entrance requirements are somewhat stricter.  You have to have a skill, for instance, and you have some dedication to it.  (Obviously, therefore, the semi-skilled "technicians" at Best Buy are not, in fact, true geeks.  In fact, they are not even technicians.)

Also, nerds are far too intelligent to have any kind of respect for Bush whatsoever.  If someone says that they liked Bush, that's a dead giveaway that they are not a nerd.  They are, instead, a member of the rival group of "nut-jobs".

While people of NERD follow the teachings of W. they also have Stephen Colbert as their God. So I think that levels it off a bit. Overall that Wiki cannot be wrong, because it is dedicated to truthiness, duh! ;)

I think there was a schism between Geeks and Nerds and were once of one blood.

Well, if it's dedicated to truthiness, then it must be right!
