i agree with you.  i don't think most of our service personel are bigots, either.  i think it's exactly like when Truman de-racified the armed forces.  the bigots can either deal with it or get out.

well, maybe it's not exactly like that.  there wasn't an actual bigotted law keeping the races separate, and Truman could just issue an order.  but Obama could stop enforcing the law.  presidents have been enforcing or not enforcing laws for political reasons since the beginning no matter what oath they took.  but this president is going to start caring about that now?
