DADT is a dumb policy. We should allow gays to serve in the military. We should be past this...

And I read that a bunch of Greek's Spartans were companions both on and off the field of battle. They were really tough, right? Fight extra hard for their lovers?

It was the Spartans!  But to tell the truth, I don't know why those artsy Athenians aren't just as likely to have invented it.  The did have a much better understanding of style, didn't they?  Or am I stereotyping too much?
