When neo suggests that Canada can afford universal healthcare because our population is SO SMALL...how do you explain where we get our tax base from then...

From a VERY SMALL population...yet we still have healthcare...I don't get that point...

And frankly...if the Canadian healthcare system expanded to include plastic surgery and MRI's just because the patient wants one...and choice of any top specialist anywhere in the country any time we want...well!!!

I would be willing to pay 70% in taxes. I don't need a five bedroom house with 3 cars, a cottage, trips to Mexico and flat-screen in every room of my house to watch American Idol.

I need QUALITY HEALTHCARE for my whole family for our whole lives...I am willing to set priorities...
