Are you implying that this is another ken sockpuppet?

No, I don't think it's Ken.  But this guy uses a lot of the same techniques.  It strikes me that CanCan isn't going to be much fun to play with.

But I can't make the connection to doominator. This guy has a little more brainpower than good ol' doomie, but I just can't help thinking that he lacks doom's sincerity.  And I can't see this guy shooting up a storeful of innocent Christmas shoppers.

Middle names play an important role in Presidents' names.

My memories go back to JFK, and whenever you said his name, you said "John Fitzgerald Kennedy".  And LBJ was either that or Lyndon Baines Johnson before he lost everyone's respect due to the war.  Then "LBJ" became a pejorative reference.   Richard Milhous Nixon, on the other hand, didn't get the honor.  He went straight to being "Tricky Dick".

Of course, we did have Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford.

No one wanted to say "Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr." for fear of snickering.  Besides, he was born "Leslie Lynch King, Jr.".  Anything other than Jerry or Gerald would have been impolite and cause much disrespectful laughter.

And with guys named Jimmy or Bill, well, you don't really care what your buddies' middle names are, do you?

But I note that we just spent eight years with George W. Bush, a.k.a., "Dubya", distinguished from his daddy George Herbert Walker Bush (I want to find the person who foisted that name of privilege on us and twist his head until it snaps off).  Our insults to Dubya's name were not based on race, however, but instead were meant to reflect his lack of brainpower.  "Geoge Dubya Bush" is not the kind of name that conjures much respect.

And the fact that the right wing tries to use Obama's middle name for race baiting only makes them more distasteful.  I think that every time a right winger says "Barack Hussein Obama" with that sneer they always put into their voices, somebody ought to ring a bell and say, "Yeah, we really hated the idea of electing a Republican.  We even learned to like Obama's magnificently oversized ears."

We should probably keep you out of the stores, too, just from the standpoint of public safety.
