She'll lose her reelction bid in 2010 (4.00 / 3)
...Alaksa economy is in the tank...budget cratering...that another reason to step down...Govs that lose their re-election bid don't make good candidates.

Add to that her hugely unpopular attempt to reject the stimulus money, her per diem and travel expense claims that lots of Alaskans think were fraudulent, her continuing ethical problems, and her sinking poll numbers.  Put it all together and it's a slap-in-the-face kind of sign that even she could read.  She didn't stand a chance in the election, and she really does want to run for President.  

I'm hoping that she doesn't run as an independent.  I think she could be the straw that breaks the elephant's back.
