GM tried this strategy in the 70's and 80'. It is called badge engineering. All products are based on the same frame with minor styling differences to maintain the illusion of a different automobile from the core Chevrolet. GM's long term decline and recent bankruptcy should demonstrate the stupidity of a strategy based on deception. The public was not fooled.

It's an embarrassing, but easy mistake. I did it once myself during my transition from my old username to this one.
