Yeah, and OneHitKill is not pleased that the inherent frailty of the human body compels him to visit the doctor once in a while. If the whole country were to perceive health insurance as optional (it is, but most people don't see it that way), it would spell trouble for private providers. Getting the entire nation to simultaneously drop their insurance, while not feasible, WOULD bring about change for the better. The only reason that's true now is because the only organizations that provide insurance in the US are doing so out of greed, not out of concern for anyone's health.
It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.
