This is a true story, with minor name changes.

When I was a teenager I had the misfortune to have the acquaintance of a young man named Raymond. Raymond was one of those people that just had the ability to piss everyone off without trying. Most of us tolerated Raymond, but none of us actually were friends with him, he just happened to hang out at the same places we did.

One Saturday we had gathered at the local teen hangout and Raymond in his usual manner managed to piss off a friend of mine named Thomas. Now Thomas was a gentle giant and it took a lot to piss him off, but Raymond finally managed it. Thomas tried to get Raymond to go away but Raymond kept running his mouth until Thomas had enough and turned around and knocked Raymond to the ground. Most people would have had enough intelligence to give up at that point, but Raymond jumped back up and declared “YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT TO RAYMOND!” at which point Thomas hauled off and knocked Raymond to the ground again. One would think that Raymond would get the message but no, he jumped back up and again declared “YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT TO RAYMOND!” this continued over and over for several minutes with Thomas knocking Raymond to the ground, Raymond jumping back up and declaring “YOU CAN’T EVEN DO THAT TO RAYMOND!” until finally Thomas just said fuck it and walked over to were everyone was standing watching this scene play out and said “That fucker is retarded and I really don’t want to hurt him.” Meanwhile Raymond who’s face looked like a the punching bag it had been used for and who hadn’t landed a single punch strutted around like he had just won the heavyweight championship.

Now the point of this story is this; some people have questioned the boycott of a certain member of this forum and all his sock puppets.

 He repeatedly post statements like the following “If 300 liberals can’t easily defeat a lone conservative clown in a leading lefty political forum, then Democrats have a big LOGIC problem. Your arguments don't make sense.”

As any member of the forum who has been here awhile knows, he has repeatedly been defeated on so many issues so many times  that you would think he would move on, but no, like Raymond he keeps jumping back up with the same lies, talking points, and stupid analogies that have been proven wrong over and over and over that it has become apparent that he isn’t interested in debate or discussion, he is here to disrupt or he really is retarded.

 This is why we have decided to be like Thomas and walk away from someone who appears to be retarded because he can’t recognize when he’s had his ass kicked even when everyone else does. If he wants to continue to strut around like the “Rainman” repeating the same phrases over and over then we will not ask that he be banished or censored, we will merely continue to try to ignore him and hope that others will join the nearly 200 others who have decided to do the same.
