You see Obama as being "self-centered", when that clearly isn't the case. He genuinely wants health care reform because it would help others. He genuinely wants peace in the Middle East because it would help others. He doesn't need either of those things either for himself or for his friends. Republicans, on the other hand, don't do anything that is in the public interest unless it is in their personal interest, and what is in their personal interest usually isn't in the public's interest. You clearly are the one who is self-centered. You want society to provide for you, but you are unwilling to give anything back to it.
You also say that Obama has the attitude that "nothing is ever his fault". But you have the attitude that nothing is ever your fault because you deny your personal responsibility for the problems faced by your community and your country. All you do is complain, and you never lend a helping hand. Because you don't want any responsibility, it's easier for you to blame others for your own shortcomings rather than to actually contribute something of value to the world.
How is it that if I say something that offends Obama, you go off on yet another personal attack on me, yet you will bitch and complain about how bad Obama is, how he isn't doing what you want him to do all the while defending him to the max against my small comment???
You need to decide whether you like him or not and stick with it. Either you do or you don't. It isn't a hard decision (even for you)...
