Much like tic tac toe, this debate will never be won. Is there a God? Who that is alive and not psychotic knows, with the key word being knows. On the other hand, who on earth that is alive and not psychotic knows that there isn't, with the key word being knows.

People believe many things throughout their lives and that is fine...it's part of our evolution.

When we were young we believed in all kinds of crazy things, some we imagined and some that were introduced to us by society and our parents. As children evolve into adults, those beliefs become biases even though we learn that they aren't true.

As a society, in many ways we are still children in that we believe in many things that we have no factual proof of and that's fine. It wasn't that long ago that we were burning women who didn't drown as witches. Ha ha ha, that was hundreds of years ago...look at the Catholic Church's response to the Harry Potter series. They treated it as if it were a real threat because there are enough people out there who believe it is or at least can be.

I guess my point here is that we are more than likely never going to know as the only way to find out is when we die and since you can't speak when you are dead, those who are alive will go on allowing themselves to be consumed by something that they will probably never know. It really is kind of a destructive cycle that we are in and hopefully our societies/cultures
will evolve with grace.
