I remember when REM went from an independant label and signed a major label deal, all the indies cried SELLOUTS!  REM would now produce pablum and lose their edge.

What they didn't consider was that those guys were smart enough to negotiate a deal where they retained complete artistic control.  It was fairly groundbreaking at the time.  They went on to produce some of their best albums for the dreaded major labels.

Of course they eventually lost their edge, but that's because they got old.

I think Cenk is smart enough to negotiate the kind of deal that would let him say whatever he wants.  Which leads me to believe that only some network like comedy central or HBO would have him.  You never know though.  There IS Rachael.
