If the congress will not do health reform... (none / 0)
again for the next 15 or 20 years, why does anyone think they will fix this broken bill within the next 15-20 years. The effects of this bill will not be felt until 2014. In the mean time, the dems will lose congress , because of apathy  and anger in the base, the republicans will have stripped and destroyed the bill and we will not have anything that remotely resembles healthcare reform so why not wait? When the dems pass this Frankenstein monster of a bill, the public will blame the dems for bullshit governance and turn on them anyway.
So democrats, why not pass a decent bill
(not single payer)but medicare buy in with some subsidies and stopping recision and all the rest.

They can do expanded Medicare or the PO as a stand alone issue.
