How to Embed Hyperlinks in Comments

There are two ways to embed hyperlinks in comments in this forum:

The easiest way is to use the "Link" icon Link icon next to the "Comment" field.  First, you have to select the text that you want to use as the symbolic link for your URL.  Then, click that icon, and a small window will popup into which you can type or paste the URL to which you want to link.  However, make sure that you've allowed popups for the domain theyoungturks.com.

Another way to include links in your comments is to simply use the HTML tag, which looks like this:

<A HREF="put your URL here">put your text here</A>

I always make my links so that they'll open in a new tab or window, leaving the orginal web page that contains the link in its tab.  To do that, use the TARGET attribute this way:

<A HREF="put your URL here" TARGET="_BLANK">put your text here</A>
