Thats a fact! Terrorism has been used to demonize Islam. Trying suggest that Islamic leaders support this is completely absurd. Though I know many Muslims support these leaders because that absolutely despise America and their policies in the Middle East (which makes sense actually).But here in MOrocco he is considered as a joke but also a threat as the 2004 Casablanca bombing demonstrates. DOn't forget that the people who are the most hit by terrorist attacks are Muslims and Arabs in general and not CHristians or the "West".

What's the punishment for apostasy according to Islam? That's right, DEATH. At least in the west we can publish cartoons of Muhammad without fear of… oh yeah we can't. There were 200 honor killing a year in Turkey of all places. When the law changed to actually punish this despicable crime, "honor suicides" skyrocketed. Every woman who lives in these cultures is a victim.

But you avoid my question about fatwas. Why does Ayan Hirsi Ali have to have security everywhere she goes for fear of being murdered by some fanatic. Theo Van Gogh didn't have security and he was savagely murdered on the street just for making a movie. Forget about the fatwas against terrorists, how about lifting these fatwas. Ayan Hirsi Ali is a hunted woman for writing a movie. Is this just a fringe movement? I think not. Don't just brush aside this question. Would Osama Bin Laden still be at large if there was a fatwa against him?

No, not all muslims are fanatics, but extremism is a widespread problem in the muslim world, not just some fringe thing as the self-blaming PC liberals would have us believe. Muslim leaders need to put their money where their mouth is. I'm not holding my breath.

Don't tell me that Religion is the source of the conflict that is simply untrue. There would be no Islamic terrorism if the U.S foreign policy wasn't so f***ed up. Why did Osama attack the U.S? Because they are infidels? NO!! HE criticised American foreign policy many times before 9/11. The MUslim world is being terrorized by AMerica, ISlamic FUndamentalists, Corrupt dictators and Poverty and none of these can be blamed on Islam itself but rather the absence of moderate Islam, the same Islam that was in ANdalusia for over 200 years with tolerance. It matters on the people and not the religion.  ISlamic FUndamentalists is a direct result of American foriegn policy in the modern world and NOT the other way around. And the Muslim country that has the most DESPICABLE attitudes towards women happens to be Saudi Arabia! What are American attitudes towards that nation? Is it a coincidence that most of the hijackers of 9/11 were Saudi's? Plus there is a fanatic rate of just under 0.000001 in the whole MUslim world
