I had a similar thought when I saw your title. How about this plot hole: the idea that you can put little suction cups on your arm and a pair of headphones connected to a sinister looking brief case, fall asleep, and then enter the other guy's dream. That could only be plausible to an unconscious person.

That's just the necessary suspension of disbelieve that's required for every science fiction or fantasy film.

However, I wonder how the WTF?! guys could speculate, whether he was in limbo or not.

He doesn't use his own talisman, but his wife's, when he remembers his children, the scene is the same, as when he finally arrives at home. The guy telling Leo that he should understand better than everybody else how it is to want to wake up.

All that said, I loved the film!
Best film of the year, even better than The Expendables!

I'm a big sci-fi fan, its just my dry sense of humor. I'm capable of taking one or two conceits like that in stride. I did enjoy the film.
