"If you don't like the current state of the economy, it's pretty easy to find those responsible."

Yep, it sure is. People like you.

During the eight years the Republicans were destroying the economy, you excused them over and over again. Two years into a Democratic administration and now you are suddenly impatient for Democrats to have fixed all of your screw ups?

You must really think highly of Obama if you think he can fix the disasterous results of the worst Presidental administration in recent history in a quarter of the time it took you to screw things up in the first place (from a budget surplus I might add).

Republicans are like the Captain of the Titanic sitting in a life raft, criticizing his rescuers for not rowing fast enough.

its so small I can hardly see it?

Bush tax cuts  for the rich created about 3. 2  jobs   the .2 are the immigrant lawn mowers  that make a half a million a yr

750.000  jobs a month where being lost near the end of the Bush debacle .. outside bizarro  world this would be a bad thing

The economy collapsed.. we where on the brink of the second great depression and we are currently in the worst depression since then

all brought to you by your friends  the regressives

And yet the regressives dont have a plan.. other than return to exactly what got us in this disaster to begin with.

If the Democrats repeated these simple truths enough

Boner would have even more time to go Golfing

I got all truthy on your ass... I fear you are going to melt like the bad witch in Wizard Of Oz

Historically, nearly EVERY Democratic administration has left office with unemployment lower than when it started.

Historically, nearly EVERY Republican adminstration has left office with unemployment higher than when it started.

Ken/Hugh/Sockpuppet gets all excited when he posts a (large) graph showing unemployment has only bottomed out, halfway though Obama's first term.

Why is it the wingnuts think Democrats should only need two years to fix their eight years of screw ups?

IIRC, unemployment rose to nearly 15% during Reagan's first term.

Why is it the wingnuts are the ones who are always complaining how they don't make enough money?

Why is it the wingnuts are the ones who are always bragging how others give them things they don't have to pay for; cars, health care, etc...?

but the truth is that the Dems have done better, but not much.

Dems are almost as beholden to special interests as Republicans, and working families get the short end of the pepperoni every time.

Conservative ideas made policy ruined this economy.  It's too bad that so many Democrats (like our President) embrace those ideas.

I also think that jobs are gone in part to trade policies, but in part to the tidal pull of history.  We left the Industrial Age about 20 years ago, and people my age are just realizing this.  The young get it, but are stuck in a nation ruled by 'boomers who don't.  I don't have a grossly oversized graph to illustrate my point, just my 2 cents.
