I've seen a lot of your posts around here & I've seen how stuff goes down when others try to have a logical debate with you. But I don't wish to judge you just yet.Westboro followers go down to fallen soldiers' funerals & show outright disrespect & Un American ways by stepping on the flag & stuff. The only thing that is keeping them from getting killed is the 1st Amendment. Other than the commentary from Fox news about the people behind the community center, I have not seen any other credible media outlet finding & reporting anything negative about them. The only reason they are not moving is basically based on pride. I am a believer of a certain religion & my country allows me to practice it freely, and I want to build a community center to bring together people from other religions to share in the love & joy my religion offers. But because,extremists of my religion,People NOT from my country,People who don't follow what I follow,People whose ideology I condemn, committed an act of Terrorism in my country,near where I plan to build my center, I HAVE to move my project? Of course not! I am not a terrorist,neither am I advocating distorted teachings of my religion,nor have I received funds directly from any terrorist organisation. So why must I move?By moving,I'm admitting that my religion really does advocate hate and jihad.I won't and I can't compromise my religion because of the actions of a corrupted few. Now you tell me,If you still wanna put those 2 together and base your argument on that. Not only me, but many others before me have already given you a fair argument on this matter. You may be someone from the right.But I believe you're an American and do have care & compassion in your heart.Please don't hurt those Muslims cos they've taken a lot for the past 10 years.I know that you really know what is right,but because of your political views,you've decided to stand by this argument.Come on,its your call now.

I'm sure if the "God Hates Fag" crowd tried to build a church anywhere near ground zero there would be a few articles written a few people might show up to protest but it wouldn't get anywhere near the press this stupid topic has. In fact I'm betting that the cons would walk that tightrope of "freedom of religion" on one side and "hating the hate speech" on the other.

It's really sad that such Hawks ultimately are nothing more than a bunch a scared cowards who need Depends to keep from embarrassing themselves whenever something "different" comes along.

all over the world trying to convert people  are really Muslims?

My cousin is in Thailand doing his Christian fundamentalist duty trying to peacefully convert the Buddhists..  When I tell him he is really a Muslim hes going to freak out.

The neighbors in the apartments down the street are a group of Mormon guys that set out on their bikes every morning on a mission to convert people to Mormonism  . When I tell them they are really Muslims  .. I dont know how they are going to take it

I have had the watchtower people here twice in 6 months..  I dont think its because they know I make a great cup of tea.

The only religions I know of that dont come knocking are Jewish.. Hindu.. Shinto ... Native American religions.. Buddhist

Im sure there are more

But Christian aint one of them..
Christianity has always been about   we like hot dogs so the whole world should like hot dogs!

But...Ill try to tell them they are Muslim  sigh

Many of you folks who oppose the Mosque ... claim to oppose it because of it's proximity, you also claim you wouldn't mind if it was at a different site. But when you folks go into details about your opposition ... it's always boils down to some Anti-Muslim/Islam tirade, smearing the folks funding/building/supporting the Mosque as being Anti-American & having terrorist ties.

So tell me how moving the Mosque will diminish the opposition to it .. when you folks still detest anything Muslim/Islam & still believe the folks funding/building/supporting the Mosque are Anti-American & have terrorist ties???
