Didn't George Carlin make the stupidity of banning words clear with his seven words you can't say on tv. It is a slippery slope when this kind of though is followed as every group will define "offensive" in a different way. Unless you want to wind up with some Orwellian society, just leave all words in play.

Be offended, protest, boycott, that is your right. Don't ban words.
