My fellow citizens:
MSNBC is looking for a new host for its 10PM timeslot. I hereby announce my candidacy for this coveted position. I’m calling our new effort “Voices for Cenk.”
This page is where you can make your voice heard, and help us get The Young Turk sensibility to even more folks.

"Hollywood Elsewhere strongly endorses the notion of Cenk Uygur, the liberal, blunt-spoken, sometimes combative host of Young Turks, being given the up-for-grabs 10 pm slot on MSNBC. .
The guy is in the same general bright-nervy-mouthy ballpark as Chris Matthews, only younger. (No offense but I don't know the other big candidate, Air America's Sam Seder.) MSNBC needs a young smart-ass GenXer on the team. "

"There are two main places I get my news: Keith Olbermann and The Young Turks.
The Young Turks don't just have smart analysis of the news - they are entertaining at the same time.
You learn, you chuckle, it's a great time. I highly recommend you consider them for your 10 PM slot."

"The role and impact of new media on the electoral process grows every year.
The Young Turks get it. Their live webcast reaches and engages people where they live and work.
It has become a part of the nationalconversation on the air and over the Internet."

"Cenk Uygur is a rare voice in media--informative, entertaining, engaging, funny, original and
compulsively listenable.I can't think of a better personality to bring to MSNBC. I would watch the
show every night. And the trio of Olbermann, Maddow and Uygur would be unbeatable. FOX, look out."

"Cenk Uygur might have a funny name, but he has proven himself to be a serious on-air personality. The Young Turks
has earned the respect of the Netroots and the Washington establishment. That is a feat  rarely done
and a testament to the talent and professionalism of Cenk and his team. MSNBC would be hiring
yet another rock star and complete the most solid prime time news show lineup ever seen on cable television."
