Death of the Huckabee candidacy?

If you like this story,
digg it!
I was wondering if
this news was going to make it off the Huffington post into the mainstream media. It has, and that probably is the end of Huckabee as a candidate.
Read the
Huffington post articles on this carefully. Apparently Republicans in Arkansas convinced Huckabee to push for the parole of a man convicted of rape because they claimed he was given a harsh sentence because one of his victims was a relative or friend of the Clinton's, or so the story goes. Aides and parole board members have confirmed that Huckabee pressed hard for the guy's release, saying he had been given a raw deal. Huckabee was warned in multiple letters from victims families that to release him would be a mistake and that he would probably rape again, one even suggested he might kill his next victim so that she would not be able to testify against him. He did, and he did. He raped and murdered another woman after his release. This is a fragmentary grenade in the Huckabee camp. I feel sure it will prove fatal in the end.
