This seems to be her current rationale for staying in the race. I say "openly hoping", because it seems obvious to me that she would be next in line should something happen to Obama even if she were to acknowledge that she has in fact lost. It seems difficult in the wake of the last two weeks to use plausible-deniability here. Others are claiming that it came out wrong and was merely a very unfortunate remark. If someone can explain this to me (ground rules: bounds of reason!). Some have also suggested that she's just tired and it's showing.

Hillary's campaign is an historic one, no doubt. But it seems to be evolving into historic proportions for reasons other than her gender.

What do you think the fallout will be?
